Data we keep
Data we keep
Nomadns only keeps what the service needs and what French law requires from a host. No civil identity is requested.
Retention periods
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Updates that do not change the address | not logged; only the date and IP address of the token’s last use are kept |
| Expired sessions | 7 days |
| Web server logs: IP address and requested page, without its parameters | 14 days |
| Addresses published for your subdomains | while the subdomain exists |
| Subdomains of a deleted account | reserved for 30 days, then available again |
A daily purge deletes what has reached its period.
In your browser
Two cookies: the session, after sign-in, and the language if you choose one. The chosen theme stays in the browser. No audience measurement, no script or font loaded from another site.
What is public
Your subdomains’ IP addresses are published in the DNS: anyone can read them by querying the name. Only publish addresses you want to make reachable.
